Jurshia F Felipe has been working with and continuously studying video editing for more than 8 years. Over that time, she developed a strong understanding of what makes editing work — not just technically, but in terms of how a video communicates and connects with its audience.
She created CutLabs because she recognized that many people learning video editing struggle not because editing is inherently difficult, but because the instruction they receive is unclear, incomplete, or disconnected from how editing actually works in practice.
CutLabs is built around the idea that practical skills, explained clearly and applied consistently, are what actually help people improve. The goal is not to produce editors who can pass a test — it is to help people develop a reliable editing process they can use on real projects.
